Mary-Kate Reveals The Reason Why The Olsens Were Not On “Fuller House”
The Olsen twins were a huge part of the hit show “Full House,” as both twins were used for the same role due to child labor laws. But now, Netflix has released a remake of the show called “Fuller House,” and the Olsen twins are absent. Why is that?
Many people are wondering why they’re not in the remake. They were one of the show’s most beloved stars!
After 8 Seasons, the show ended and Mary-Kate and Ashley pursued other acting opportunities and started their own fashion label. They also created tons of Mary-Kate and Ashley merchandise.
Eventually, the twins edged closer to a career in the fashion industry. Today, they are very successful in that area.
Dave Coulier, who played Joey Gladstone in the original series, explains why the twins didn’t make it into the remake: “They’re family members. But I think they have a different perspective. When we get together and reminisce, they were babies [at the time]. So they don’t share those same memories. I can’t really speak for them but I would understand why they don’t have the same sentiments that we all do.”
After years of work in the fashion industry, the twins haven’t acted for years. The last time they were in front of a camera was when they were 17, and they just don’t feel comfortable acting anymore.
Another reason is that they are at the helm of a major fashion empire. They just don’t have the time to act when they have a business to run.
