The Nurses Can’t Stop Him And It’s Only When He Begin To Bleed That He Stops Wagging His Tail
This dog weighed only 15 pounds when it was found in Brockton, Massachusetts.
The dog was in horrible shape, with wounds all over him, so his trust in humans was tentative, but eventually he came to want to kiss and snuggle his rescuers, who named him XO for hug and kis.Wa
The dog developed Happy Tail syndrome where it wagged it’s tail uncontrollably, which could be harmful if he continually hit himself with it. In his case, he began to bleed from all that wagging, but rescuers got him under control.
He was taken to Second Chance Rescue where he waited to be adopted. A worker, Alyssa Ellman, said “At first I wanted to cry when I saw him. It broke my heart to see a little guy in such a state.”
He put on 13 pounds and is taken to the office every day by his care Mama, until he is adopted. He gets to lay on a big comfy pillow and be cared for.
